For same reason they talked to human babies with words like "goo goo", "ga ga", "coochie coochie coo".

Yeah well you know... but what's with the "I'z" thing? Frankly my cat is quite refined and speaks with hardly an accent....

Can't be right. There are none of the following in that pic:

- poo
- sex
- motorcycles
- operating systems

and all of these regularly appear in Foo.

Mon chat, Annie, elle parles francais avec la maîtrise. L'anglais, elle ne réalise pas en tant que bon un travail.

De l'autre côté, elle est seulement un chat.

Our dog, being a native of Taiwan, speaks flawless Mandarin.

This is why she almost never sits when told to do so in English.

My dog in college knew the basic commands in both English and Russian.

A Ukrainian friend of mine came over to my place to study a lot. He taught my dog the same basic commands in Russian. I used to love to my friends that I had a bilingual dog.

That doesn't change the fact that she's not terribly obedient sometimes.

My last cat became an accomplished pianist, yet he still preferred to use the "I can haz" diction, which drove me nuts.

She's a rescue dog with some issues, so I forgive a little doggie ADD. At least she's housebroken, sleeps all night, and is reasonably respectful (if a little fearful) around people. We'll see how she reacts to a baby next year.

Ok, guy is driving through Montana, and sees a sign by a ranch house that says "Talking Dog For Sale - $10".

He HAS to stop. Goes up and knocks on the door, guy answers, and the Driver says "You have a talking dog for sale?"

Guy: "Yep. Come on back with me and you can see him."

So, they walk through the house, and out back this old black Lab is sunning himself. The Driver, obviously skeptical, walks up to the dog and says "I understand you can talk."

Dog: "Why yes, I can talk."

The Driver is astounded. "How is this?"

Dog: "Well, I've just been this way since a pup. And since it is such a valuable skill, I was recruited by the NSA and military for super secret spy work. They'd slip me into an encampment, or situation, and I'd listen to what was being said and report back. Totally undetectable spy; my intelligence saved countless thousands of American military personnel's lives...

... Later, when I got a little too old to do that kind of work, the FBI has used me in tracking domestic terrorists, and I've personally helped avoid another half dozen or so major terrorist incidents on our soil because I can talk."

The Driver is just stunned. He steps back, and says to the guy, "This is amazing. Why are you only charging $10 for this dog?"

Guy: "Nah, he's only worth $10."

Driver: "Good god, WHY? This dog is priceless."

Guy: "Nope. See, he's lying - made all of that **** up. He's just been out here for 10 years watching cable."
