For me...just cremate me. I don't care, I'll be dead. Spread me in the water, in a park, on a mountain, hell flush me down the toilet, I'll never know.

Cremate. With instructions to mix me in with the soil in my garden where it might do some good.

Of course this is based on the flawed premise that I will someday meet my demise.

I'd go with cremation...but what if you're not really dead? Same with burial. But then if you're dead, worms eat you, which is kind of demeaning. Maybe they should just leave me on the back porch for awhile, and if I don't get up in a week or so, then toss me in the oven and set it to "extra-crispy".

Cremated... 1) big ridiculous waste of money to bury someone no matter who's paying and 2) don't want anything left in the ground someone feels obligated to visit and care for. I know it's illegal but I love the thought of using my ashes to renew the soil somewhere. Right now I am actually toying with the notion of donating my body to some university for science classes. It would be perfect... they cover all the expenses of pick and handling and it will give the students something to make fun of and add enjoyment to their day!

Question: Would that decision be based on religious beliefs? i.e. is it a mormon thing?

Organs donated, burn the rest and keep the ashes in an empty bottle of Yoo-Hoo that will be poured out in my honor.
