Dinner in San Fran

Hey All,

I'm traveling to San Fran on Wednesday and looking for a nice dinner. Nothing too fancy or to dive. Basically, a local gem.

If anyone can recommend such a place, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Nick

Really good Chinese:

1) Hunan, Sansome just north of Broadway, or
2) Brandy **'s, Columbus and Jackson. Edit: Oh, for goodness sakes, The auto-editor took out the second name here. For the second name, take "Ip" and for each letter, substitute the immediately preceding letter of the alphabit.

Good stuff, reasonable prices.

If you don't have any objection to having awesome garlic breath, definitely don't miss The Stinking Rose. It's at 325 Columbus, between Broadway and Vallejo. Check it out here.

If you like Italian, go to Washington Square. Lots of good eats there.

Clearly the auto-censor is racist!
