Foo is making me sad

I know there are real people out there with real problems, and I don't want to take away from that. Let's even things out... I want to hear good news. I'll start.

1. Yesterday I got to see my old boss squirm because his ineptness was figured out.

2. My brother came back from Afghanistan yesterday morning.

Most importantly, you're not that dirtbag couch.

Although couch has Tude, so that's like the ultimate feather in his cap

Whenever I hear that one of ours made it back alive it becomes my bestest news of the day!

After months of barely being able to ride, my bad knee is hurting less and getting stronger.

the good news: that makes it just a wee bit less sucky for you all to put up with me.

chip, we don't "put up with you", we just accept that you're that crotchety Uncle/Aunt in every family.

Good to hear about the knee getting better, though.

My brother-in-law is marrying a totally awesome lady this weekend.

My calf muscle tear is healed enough that I'll be able to dance with my wife at the wedding reception.

Not on a par with siblings coming home from war, but still, I'm pretty stoked!

I like my job, I'm still employed, and my girlfriend is still doing well in school. That's enough to get me out of bed every day.

Even more reason to buy him a beer. I'm happy he is home safe.

I am happier and more content with life than I have been in years. My wife and I are working hard on our faith, our marriage and our parenting. Life is Good. That is All. Carry On.

Hillary, at least take solace in the fact that Foo has enough love to make those in need comfortable turning to it for help instead of staying in denial, misery, pain, isolation, whatever.

Chip, the word before crazy, is it supposed to have "ety" on the end?

1. My sister in law is slowly coming out of that chemically induced coma that was supposed to last 3 weeks but lasted two months.

2. I've got a job that I love and take pride in

3. My boss stuck up for me yesterday and took the heat all day when someone tried to underhand me (again) using their seniority because they were pissed it didn't work last time.

4. I have people that love me and I get to hear the words "I love you" every night before I go to bed.

I have two boxes of Halloween candy at home, and I had 10 hours of sleep last night. And I don't have the heenie (H1N1), despite my friends being sick...yet.

My little Min-Pin Blinky is finally housebroken. A whole week with no accidents. He is now welcome to join the rest of the pack and sleep in my room at night. Thats a load off my back.
