So what are all the little symbols by people's names??

I scrolled down to the bottom of the page while viewing all the forums and noticed a list of all the names. But what's with all these nifty symbols?? Red stars, blue stars, yellow jerseys, eagle-looking things. What do they all mean? Multiple symbols? It appears blue stars are moderators, but besides that, I have no idea.. Been wonderin' a while, I figured I'd ask...

Well, the red star means we are commies.
The gold jersey is a really really rich person.
1 blue star means they killed at least on person.
If they have 3 blue stars, well, just stay the f' out of their way.

Don't listen to MV. You get the little doohickies from performing unspeakable acts upon the moderators. Some people have gotten around this with large bribes and they are known as "Freds".

So you say. I find llamas to be more useful, personally. Men tend to get upset when you use them as pack animals.

It depends on what you're packing on top of them.

If there is a buzzard next to the blue star it means that the body was never found.

Eh, I've already got one of those. I'd have to upgrade to a larger bed. And then I'd have to up my performance to justify it.

If your name is in red that means it is time to renew or run like Logan.

This thread brings up other questions.
Suppose you were running so fast that you were approaching the speed of light.
Looking forward, would you see a red or blue doppler shift in the light coming from ahead of you?
I can't map that one in my head. Could rod and cone spatial distortion be affecting things?

Well, you'd be going so fast that the wind would dry your eyes out, and you wouldn't be able to see any shift.

I'm not sure of all the meanings, but the shirt means "Not wearing pants".

Red Star = Contributing member in a very OG way.
Yellow Jersey = Titanium level
Blue Star = Moderator
3 Blue Stars = Administrator
Eagle = Sheldon Brown Memorial / Service Award
Username in red = user online and not in stealth mode / invisible
Username in black = user offline or in stealth / invisible / lurking mode
Username swirling around in rainbow colors = you need to stop taking whatever you are taking.
