How long will it take...

Before someone starts a thread complaining about the new look of the forums?

Oh...

I've been thinking of just that. The color scheme is causing pain in my eyes. I like the very simple older layout much better.

How the hell do I read just the stuff I want to read? I don't care about stuff in C&V. It's too freakin' hard to find just what I want...

And I have an advertisement in the corner of my screen.

It's actually much more difficult to read to me; all the fonts are very small. This is almost enough to put me off BF for a while.

If we're going to be broadcasting our post counts now, how about including all the posts? I feel disenfranchised because thousands of my posts are not being counted.

This new stuff is a hog. It's a screen real-estate hog, and a processor hog. If I scroll too fast, the music skips. Jesus.

It's too spread out for my taste. I liked the compact look of bf.

Your computer must really suck. On my 3 and a half year old laptop my proc never hit 50%.

There's a settings button in the right top corner. That's the new User Control Panel. Everything that was on there should still be there.

It does. It's a craptop, something like four years old, and pretty busted up. But it rarely has issues with complex sites.

I think the main culprit is the stupid bug in the corner of the screen having to be re-rendered every frame.

Anyone see the 'style chooser' in the bottom left? Only one option there at the moment, but that looks like where we'll be able to switch the appearance.
