I was trying to avoid her, really...

But Lady Gaga is unavoidable, and actually, she is extremely talented when not singing canned pop songs on autotune. Wow. That'll teach me not to judge singers by their incredibly trite (and often vomit-inducing) commercial packaging.

Which makes her a total sell out. I can't stand her music (pop crap).

I really, really like electronic music and 80s-influenced music but I don't much care for what I've heard from Lady Gaga.

I didn't like her at first and then I watched the "Bad Romance" video....several times. There's something really subversive about it that I like. It helps that I don't listen to commercial radio ever, so the only exposure I've had to her has been her sartorial choices.

Holy crap. Thanks for the link, neko.

EDIT: This is pretty much how I felt after seeing Repo! and seeing just what Paris Hilton could do. Heh.
