Michigan vs Ohio State?

Look at all those people stuck in that stadium. They should be out riding. You northern midwesterners have to be loving this weather.

Haha, it is extremely funny that you should post this. I live in Ohio, and today the local MTB club did what they held what's called the chilly ride where everyone makes chilly and what have you. There were honestly probably more people in front of the TV (plugged into a shelter near the trail head) than there were riding. Just remember, here in Ohio, if you call OSU mediocre, you could be killed (At heart I'm not an Ohioan, so I dont really care about OSU). Its like telling a redneck that nascar sucks (as it does).

Here in OK, if you say OSU was mediocre, 8 times of ten you would be right. Not really a Cowboys fan, but at least there not injury riddled like the Sooners.

Sweatervest has owned Michigan, which was the main reason that Cooper lost his job - losing to Michigan. tOSU has effectively destroyed Michigan as a Big 10 power. I fully expect Michigan to be a bad team next year as well. R Rod screams at his players too much... kids today don't respond to that.

UT vs. UF, more than likely, For The Mythical National Championship.

If Meyer bails for ND, this year is the time to do it, he loses all of his good players, as does Mac Brown (think I'd rather play for Brown, he seems like a nicer guy).

Yep. It was a beautiful day. A beautiful day for a good old fashioned Buckeye butt kickin'.

If Ohio State went winless until the Michigan game, emerging victorious there; most folks around here would consider the season a success.

im hoping for UT vs. BAMA because i really enjoy watching bama play. I agree having met Mack Brown he is a very nice guy, as is Greg Davis the offensive coordinator. Have to win two more games though before that can even happen.

90% of my relatives are in OH and bleed Red and Silver. Obnoxious bunch, but they are family.

Now I live in a town where you are required to attend UNLV football games if you get a DUI. Some think that is too cruel.

BAMA and TX, now there is a game. Boise vs TCU for the "secondary" championship.

LOL I hope i am not the only one left who doesn't think TCU can hang with the UT, FU, AU, LSU, OSU and other top tier teams....Now I remember watching Boise beat Oklahoma a couple years back and maybe it's because I am a texas fan I don't think Oklahoma is ever quite as good as people say they are but..........I can't see TCU taking out Florida or Alabama if Texas happens to lose.

Correct. By 20 years.

What really sux is that the other OSU was first, unless you want to just go by when they became OSU, in which case they are third.

Darn, what are the odds (actually I guess those are fairly high).

OSU Beavers
OSU Sooners
OSU Buckeyes.

Oregon State's called the Beavers, 'cause their cheerleaders have no shame.
Oklahoma State's called the Sooners, and that's got something to do with their sex life and finishing up sooner than their partners.
Ohio State's called the Buckeyes as a tribute to the mighty and fearless Buckeye specie of horse chestnut, found growing all over Ohio in the yards of the teams fans.

you my friend have been misinformed. the Oklahoma State team is the Cowboys, which happen to be ranked higher than your precious yet also over-rated buckeyes.

It would be the first time either team has had a game against a good team all year.

Strength of Schedule still figures in with the rating system. TCU can hang with anyone and has a good chance of beating OHIO, and the other OSUs. Boise is sexy cause they beat U of Oklahoma. They said it couldn't be done. I like the underdogs.

As a Michigan alumni, I'd say the opposite was true too . If Michigan would have won, we would have finished 2-6 in the Big 10, but the season would have been OK .

Rich Rod has done most of the damage himself... Lloyd did a good job with the rest of the Big 10 - neither he, Moeller, or Bo ever finished 1-7 in the big 10. In 2 years, RR has lost more games than Moeller did in his 5 (16 vs 13). Bo's worst year, 1984, he still finished 5-4 in the Big 10. Moeller and Carr's worst years were only 5-3 in the Big 10.

RR has even scared talent away. Mallett, the QB for Arkansas, was a UM, but left when RR was hired. He now has, what, 6 QB records at Arkansas...

Taking a bike to a Michigan game would be a wise game plan for those who've experienced Ann Arbor Traffic afterwards.. It takes a couple hours to clear.. But, then can you imagine 100,000 bicycles about.

I've seen videos of China, that has to be thousands of bikes. Its a good idea. I doubt that Michigan can ever really be a bike commuter state. Maybe the next time they win a National Title at Football.

But there seems to be some really die hard riders up in "that neck of the woods." What happened to Pete and USC?
