It's a 95 Passat. This will be our third vehicle, to replace the 2000 Concorde that my eldest daughter is now claiming. I'll be driving it until my youngest daughter learns to drive stick.

Who takes their tiny chihuahua dog who apparently doesn't listen to a large forest preserve with grasslands and lots of trees and then lets it off the leash? Stupid owners that lose their chihuahua, that's who I took an extra lap to look for him, but no sign. (not my dog, some lady and her 2 kids)

A badger or rabbit I have a hard time believing. I'm down with other people's possum though.

Just wrapped things up for the day... sent this girl to her new home with new wrap and some fresh Gatorskins.

Thinking someone is going to enjoy their commute tomorrow.

Time to kick back and relax now.

At the point where the ridiculous amount of work I have to do is draining my motivation, rather than spurring me on. Weather is gorgeous outside, too...

What stickers??

Ran around doing errands here and there. Just got a call from an old friend. She wants to go eat Vietnamese noodle soup for lunch. GAH! Just came from out that way. Half hour drive...

I'm still working on those darn ledgers...

Other than that, I'm exhausted. Stayed late at the pool hall to get some quick lessons. I really need to improve my game.

Be careful riding with the Rhinovirus. If you get close to any old LandRovers, you will be unable to resist the urge to charge. Noble yes. Prudent No.

Febreeze FTW

Well that little last minute lunch sure ended up being a five hour jaunt. Had Pho at a different place than usual and I think from now on I'll probably visit them regularly. The small is equal to the large at the other place I usually go to.

Ended up strolling through the Farmer's market. Almost died at the prices. I guess they don't look too much like a bargain when produce is my expertise. Can't believe how terrible it looked - small, shriveled, limp - at such (to me) high prices. I like mine to be large and firm, without wrinkles.... full of juice. I felt so guilty watching people buy what I would consider seconds or rejects. And most of it wasn't even organic.

After that we went to Costco where I found a wonderful picnic table, a Hibiscus tree, and some black eyed Susan vines that I wanted to get. Went home empty handed because I didn't have Shorty with me. My friend drove her CRV. Sucks.

building up some wheels, selling them and putting part of those proceeds into charity.

of course, I'm waiting for the parts to arrive first.
