Getting ready to go out of town for a big basketball tournament. Would like to take the bike along but not sure if I will get a chance to ride it.

Finishing up a tax return that was supposedly already done...then the client sends me an email "found aother 1099". WTF....don't people know what accounts their money is in and thus how many 1099's to expect and therefore to report?

obviously, no they don't. I bet some have really really bad money managers, who move funds without approval or knowledge.

We hosted a triathlon at work this morning. I showed up at 5:30, got a ride to the start, picked up my pass and bag of stuff, talked to a couple people/shook some hands and started walking back at 6:34. Ran into someone who gave me a ride to my car and was driving away as the start cannon went off. My time improves every year.

Rx oakleys have a crazy price... $435 for a pair and another $315 for another set of interchangable lenses...

I wonder just how much is covered

Get a job with an Oakley dealer. They offer smokin' EP prices.

their web prices don't seem so bad at first glance, though they only list prices for regular lenses and not Rx.

no way to cover that with only one set of lenses.

that and finding one for asian faces is double hard.

What do you mean for night and day? Clear set of lenses as well as dark? I just wear my regular glasses when the sunglasses aren't called for (or I forget them, which is most of the time).

It's cool that some manufacturers are making "Asian face" specific glasses now. Must've been a huge pain before.
I tried my regular glasses for night riding. they don't go up high enough so I get to see exactly 5ft clearly in front of me and beyond that it's a blur. I can ride at night with no glasses, just not very fast because I can't see far enough (even though my light certainly lights up the road well beyond my vision). not fun hitting pot holes that you don't expect

yeah, the frames made for european faces just don't sit on asian faces correctly. always resting on the cheek bones, pinching the head and leaving a big gap between the lens and face. as a result they sit too low to be any good or are are just irritating after a while.
there was only one set of specialized sunglasses that fit my face... and even then not ideal.

Sounds like all is fun and smiles! I spent my day snowshoeing up a mountain with a snowboard on my back. Just drinking the ol' Utah beer, here.

Had a nice weekend away. Did the race around Blenheim the fastest time I've ever done and was even in the top 50th percentile for the first time. Caught up with some friends I hadn't seen for a couple of years on Sunday.
