Okay I have to admit that I do cook for my dogs every once in a while. They were raised on dry but probably once a week or twice every three weeks they get something I drum up for them.

Everyone thinks I'm weird for that.

Oh well.

Why do you cook it? Our dog loves raw mutton and he eats papaya, etc. Also, he loves soured milk. Aside from gnawing on me when he gets bored in my office, he shows no signs of anything but excellent health.

Yeah, all good ingredients. I make a similar batch for our dogs but cook them in muffin trays. They are portioned that way, frozen and taken out one at a time to thaw.

My dog eats commercial dog food but he gets the odd carrot, microwaved sweet potato, peas etc. He loves vegetables.

be very carefull with carrots, I've seen many critters impacted due to carrots, even rabbits. So please cook them before you feed it to your little buddy.

I use to take care of Standard Poodle show dogs and The owners had me Pressure cook cow brains for the dogs. Smelled nasty but the dogs seemed to like it, but then they also like vomit and cat turds

I'll scrape some leftovers for her, but that's about it. She's tall enough though that she looks down on the dinner table, so she manages to sneak a few cooked meals that were intended for the humans.

I know. =0) just that I don't trust vets and docs, I had a dog killed by a vet when I was younger, he told me my dog would be fine after the neutering, he died on the operating table, I also had a doc tell me my mom would be fine after her back surgery, she came out paralized from her neck down and died two yeas later due to complications from the surgery, so now I just go by what I see. BTW, my moms poodle died due to carrots impacting her intestines, the vet told her she could eat carrots, and my neighbors rabbit just died from the same thing.

I had a pet bunny, he ate carrots, apples, weeds all kinds of stuff...no problems. Bad string of luck geez. Juneau's been eating carrots for years problem-free.

My tenderhearted wife used to make the dog a meatloaf on his birthday. With a candle.

How can you not love a person like that?

I have to keep my pooches fenced out of the garden, otherwise they help themselves to corn, peas, and cucumbers. Who'd a thunk dogs would eat cucumbers?
