What is it with little kids fascination with mixed (every flavor) fountain drinks anyway?

I remember drinking them as a child. Now that I'm all grown up, I'm still drinking mixed drinks...just not the ones from 7-11

I only just heard of this at a bday party my 8 yr old was at. Graveyard, they called it. Only just heard a name for it I mean.

The swampwater thing reminds me of a drink I learned from canoe trips: scoop some swamp water, w/ plankton into it, add whiskey, wait for the plankton to stop swimming, and drink.

My boys will spend 10 minutes discussing, and then carefully decanting their kamikaze (what they call them) fountain drinks. It seems to be an exact science.

Just something to be different, I suspect.

My favorite suicide when I was a kid = coke, 7-up, root beer and sometimes orange.

Root beer and Dr. Pepper was delicious mixed together. I also liked orange mixed with sprite. Grape and orange pops tasted like rusty tin cans so I liked that too.

lets just say canadian. I have never heard them called suicides

We used to have a store (like an a&p I suppose) with a full on fountain section. Make your own 2l bottles. We strove to find the perfect mixture, the greatest of mixtures...Never mixed more than 5 or so. No point really
