I just read the CNN article... total publicity stunt. How are they going to know who's put on pounds over the holidays? Looks like it's pretty easy to get a few million dollars (at least) worth of free publicity from reuters and cnn.

Agreed. It might be interesting to come back in 10 years and see what it has morphed in to though. Like any social group they'll end up with an odd set of ideals which may end up making them stick out like a sore thumb just as much as it keeps the "fatties" out.
