That's good, because GA Tech fans annoy the ever-lovin' crap out of me.

Decent year for the Big 10 in bowl games. Maybe Texas will drive another stake in the SEC/ACC corpse.

I don't necessarily think the SEC is overrated - certainly over-hyped. ACC suffers from being on East Coast and getting too much manlove from a very biased press.

The "SEC is strong top to bottom" myth has been busted. Pac-10 didn't fare very well either.

That varies from year to year. The SEC definitely had the top two this year. The rest of us sucked out loud.

But nothing sucked as bad as that field in Orlando. Would have been nice to see PSU and LSU play something approximating football.

Weird play calls and abominable clock management in front of 92,000 potential coaches is a good start.

Ouch. Miles is waiting for the call from UM when they fire RR (total d-head) at the end of next season.

I'm thinking you may have something there....
People in the stands don't stand there groaning because of poor execution, they are hollering at the coaches for bad play calls....

OTOH, we Iowa fans would like to see Brewster and RR around for years, barely winning 7 games or less per year.

No it hasn't. The SEC had two teams in the BSC, thus it created mismatches down below. For example UT was 4-4 in the SEC, yet it played the 2nd best team in the ACC.

When people talk about there being an East Coast media bias, they're generally talking about the northeast East Coast, around the major media centers. I've not considered ACC football teams to be the beneficiary of a bias, because who, outside the Carolinas and Virginia, really cares about those teams?
