    I haven't done this in 35 years!

    This is in Georgia.
The last time the pond froze was when I was a small child.
I wonder where I can buy some ice skates around here.

I've never seen a completely frozen over lake before... Are they always that clear?

The fact that the ice is so thin that you can see through it would keep me off...

I have been on frozen lakes many times (as I live in MN after all), but I would stay off that thing!

no, in fact thats an anomaly in my world. I don't think I have ever seen that before. Lots of frozen lakes, never clear. (unless the ice is like 1/2 inch)

You see, their morals, their code...it's a bad joke, dropped at the first sign of trouble. They're only as good as the world allows them to be. I'll show you. When the chips are down, these...These "civilized" people...they'll eat each other. See, I'm not a monster. I'm just ahead of the curve

    Here is the whole pond.

Where I was playing around never gets direct sun. The ice there looks to be 4-5 inches thick.
    It's just freaky clear.

Can I bring some dynamite (or its equivalent in black powder)? I don't have an ice saw.
