Train passenger wakes up locked in train yard

http://www.king5.com/news/Sounder-pa...-81203107.html

The best part is how he blames everybody but himself. It's their fault for not waking him up...he was vulnerable, could have been robbed, blah blah blah because "they" didn't wake him up.

He still has both his kidneys, so he should consider himself fortunate.

If this happened to me, there's no way I'm going to seek the media to say anything about the incident. Get some self-respect, man.

There's only one reason to do that...he's hoping for some compensation. Ugh!

I feel it's highly improbable that he slept for 5 hours. Something is not right. I'm sure this guy is going to be in the news again, and I doubt it will look favorable for him.

Yeah, sure...he should have wakened himself? Huh? According to the article, it's happened before. He was just sleeping, but what if there'd been someone ill? "They" were negligent.

Ask a fellow passenger to wake you if you fall asleep, set cell phone alarm, set watch alarm, etc.....

The guy should have a tshirt printed up bragging about his 5 hour nap on an out of service, locked train.

I'd be embarrassed if I did that and definitely wouldn't call the media about the incident. Sheesh. A little pride, dude.

At least he didn't do that in Toronto recently. He wouldn't have woken up.

Back when I was in college in San Luis Obispo, our usual bus driver on the SLO-Pismo run would wake me up if I fell asleep and didn't magically awaken at my stop (which actually happened most of the time). That is, if none of the regular passengers woke me up first.

I have been sleep posting in Foo since 07. None of y'all better wake me up. I am grumpy after a nap.

I think he was waiting for Rebecca DeMornay to show up and repeat the scene from Risky Business.

Clearly, all sleeping train passengers are potential terrorists waiting to wake up unattended in train yards where they can cause untold havoc on The American Way. Let's ban sleeping on trains immediately!

Sincerely,

On the school buses they check for kids or items. Not on the adult trains. Old enough to ride, old enough to take care of yourself

He's overreacting. I fell a sleep once on a bus and all I got was fondled.
