I've yet to meet a Colorado beer that compares to the best from San Diego, Oregon and Washington. I'll have to sample some Breckenridge action someday.

What are some good Washington beers? I'm in Seattle this weekend and would like to try some.

Some of my favorites come from the aforementioned Dick's (dunno about Seattle availability), Elysian Brewing and Hale's.

The supermarket I go to has an instant teller in the lobby and a liquor store in the parking lot. My little joke with the staff there is: "Must be hard to keep a job around here."

You'll find Mac & Jack's African Amber Ale in a lot of bars there. I might even say it's better than Widmer Drop Top Amber Ale, which is one of my staples.

I know I've had some Elysian's that I liked, but I don't recall which ones. Also, there's a couple McMenamin's restaurants up there. Their food and service are utterly unremarkable, but the buildings usually have a lot of character and I love their Terminator Stout.

This is one of my favorite Seattle spots for tasty beers and tasty vittles: Brouwer's Cafe

Looks like they just had a big Green Flash party, so they might still have some of San Diego's finest on tap.

64 beers on tap, nice! There's a like-minded place in Portland called Henry's Tavern that has 100 beers on tap, and they're constantly rotating new brews through the line.

Cool, I'll have to check Henry's next time I'm downtown. Back in the day when I worked in deep SW, I'd hit up Dublin Pub, another joint with 100 taps. Menu not even close to Brouwer's, but for a while they had a cook that could fry up a mean batch of fish and chips.

I love DFH beers. Still haven't had the Raison, only the various minutes beers.

Tonight's beer never made it to the fridge, but sure is good!
