Just had my bachelor party and wedding in Vegas in September. Basically, my friends drove me around drinking at different places....ended up at a T&A bar.

Note: If you go to T&A bar, have at least one sober person looking out for others. I learned that drunk bachelor and T&A bar = more money than I wanted to spend.

What kind of things were you thinking of? Drinking? Titty bars? What other stuff did you have in mind?

Well, what other things besides drinking and titty bar do you plan to do? I mean finding a regular bar and/or titty bar in Vegas is like asking where the air is.

If you want specific suggestions of various places, I can ask my friend who knows Vegas better and sort of provided directions on where we went (I was too drink to remember specific places). I do recall, as far as "regular bars" go (for drinks), we mostly hit the bars in the hotels on the strip.

Rent "The Hangover" and make some plans from there.

Fall in Vegas, Golf, Biking, NASCAR, field trip through the Shelby Plant if you like Shelby modified cars, UNLV football game if you like laughs, comedy clubs, camping, the Grand Canyon Zion National Park in addition to the "STRIP" attractions. Vegas can turn unfriendly if you don't have a sane person riding shotgun.

Yeah, that was kind of my point. If you are just looking for bars and/or titty bars, there are tons on/near the strip and they're pretty much all the same. No planning really necessary. It's only if you want to plan things "other than that", you may need to plan deeper.

The big thing in Vegas these days is touring foreclosed properties.

I plan on bringing two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we need all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only thing that really worries me is the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge.

the nixon administration tended to bring that out in certain types of people. r.i.p. h.s.t. as best as you possibly can...may be lieutenant governor of hell by now.

I went to Vegas once, and checked out of the old MGM Grand just before this happened.

For some reason, I've never been back to Las Vegas. Nor have I wanted to.

We got to watch the Monte Carlo burn from our deck. You all come back and have a good time, be sure to tip the Valet and waitresses.

tip at check in, cash between cc and id, ask for complimentary upgrades for your friends bachelor party, you'll be in a suite easy.

$20 and $50 gets the same, your choice based on who you get at the desk.
