I feel bad for you. my office has been deserted by what few people even came in today. we have flurries but just barely and the roads are just wet. OMG rush to the bomb shelter. good grief

as typical New Englanders the next storm will be ignored and the school kids will get stuck in their busses for 5 hrs

my kids and spouse are home - I'm leaving at 1:00 to see a movie

Long Island is under a Blizzard Warning, but we aren't getting it yet.

On a side note, a Postal Delivery Vehicle (Mail Truck) hit me in the A$$ at lunch while I was stopped at a red light. I bet this is going to get ugly!

Yep, but it is a federally licensed and insured vehicle. I have slight damage, and the woman at GEICO said it would be best to wait and see what happens if the repairs are not critical.

I think my neck hurts.

In the Wilkes-Barre area, I came to work unlike most people... I did so after shoveling my drive twice this morning. The second time through I almost decided to call it a day.

I did it once, and then went in to have a cup of coffee and check email. When I went back out to leave, there was about 2 inches of snow, so I decided to shovel again so that I have 2 less inches to get this evening.

It has been snowing pretty heavily every time I have looked out the window, so I expect to have some serious clearing to do when I get home.

Here in Boston we're supposed to be under full attack, but it's just a light flurry that's melting as it hits the ground. I hear it's just rain south of us. I wonder were our weather went (100% of heavy snow from noon on, according to weather.com and NOAA).

Still no snow on the ground in Boston. Funny how they were predicting up to ten inches of snow here. Even more funny is that that half my office left early today and so many places were shut down in anticipation. I doubt we'll even get 4 inches out of this. I won't even miss one day of communting by bike .
