......after the one I ordered comes in. And that's ONLY because I ordered it.
You need to start buying knives that come with handles. Much less chance of injuries.
how many stitches? ttiuwop!
No. I don't think so.
A butterfly bandages, gauze pads, duct tape and super glue hurts-so-much-I-feel-nauseated type stab. It's in my ankle. Hoirts like hell. Bleeding like hell. And I can deal with pain. But not right now. Hurts to even move my ankle. At first it didn't.
When it first happened I laughed and Dan was right here and he laughed too. But now...no. It's not good. I'm going to go lay down and elevate it. See ya.
Ouch! Sounds nasty. Be careful with those types of injuries. You never know what damage has been done, and then there's infection to worry about.
Heh, heh... good to hear you survived. SuperGlue does wonders on knife wounds!
I remember the day my mum got a call from my brother, "Guess what? I chopped off my thumb!" Although technically that wasn't a knife, but a table-saw.
You're supposed to stab other people. Glad you're ok...
the cat in your avatar is darling
hum... would this help?
They come in pink too.
Maybe collecting knives is a bad idea for you?
Some sort of pithy irrelevant one-liner should go here.
Why do you hate your ankles? They are not cankles are they? You have to learn to love yourself. Cutting yourself is not the answer Siu. You will not find solace or release in the pain. You need to find something worth hating, like Toyota gas pedals or ModoVincere or defective LBD's. Then stab them. But do it with love. Do all things with love. Then have some pistachio ice cream.
Okay, wait scrub all that. Well not all of it. Stab ModoVincere, you really do not even need a reason, then have some pistachio ice cream. Maybe even have some before stabbing ModoVincere. You can never really have to much pistachio ice cream. Especially if you are a stabby ankle hater.
Hope this helps.
You aren't going to like this at all, then.
Thank you all for caring. I was able to go to work and it hurt but I could function. I'm scared to take off the bandages and I can feel that deep inside it's still tender. But when I rub my finger on the outside of the bandage with some pressure I don't feel anything.
It's s30v, isn't it?
Siu, sorry to hear about the stab. Makes me recall the one summer camp I went to in the Boy Scouts, one of the older guys went against the leader's direction not to build a wood raft to take on the river (which was not much more than a creek due to the lack of rain). In any case, he was holding a log with his feet and using a hatchet to cut it in half. I'm guessing you can see where I'm going with this story. He had to be driven out of the valley we were at in the Ozarks to a hospital over an hour and a half away.

Perhaps you could try collecting soft things for a little while. Like:

At least until your ankle heals. Just a thought.
