I *hate* the baggy pants, shorts and tshirts that are so common today (doesn't matter what part of the country you live in). I order shorts online that are more of a hiking outdoors style.

Plus its become fashionable among suburban teenage boys to dress like this...

re: what bad kids "look" like ...:

when I 1st moved to Boston in 1984 I was walking around Fanuel Hall, a local; downtown attraction area with shops and restaurants, etc. and I was with my live-in girl friend at the time. we heard car alarms and I saw 2 boys ripping wires out of a BMW and stuffing them into a shopping bag. they were regular looking college aged boys who looked so clean cut - nice clothes, nice shorts, white ... the whole nine yards. instinct kicked in and I yelled at them to stop and gave pursuit. I chased them for 30 min all around Fanual Hall in and out of shops and restuarants, losing sight of them and then finding them again a couple of times. while they were still in earshot I yelled at them that if i caught them I was going to kill them. I was about 27 back then and in good shape (175? 185?) but I couldn't catch them. I eventually met a cop in a gold cart and reported the crime and gave a description. I remember the cop smiling - who knows what he was thinking. what was I thinking - that wasn't even my car!

anyway the bad kids look just like the good kids. I guess that was my point.

I'm 50 now (225) and I can't say what I would do if I came across a similar scene today. I may be heavier now but I'm in better shape actually. bad boys ... stay away from me!

it's the ones who don't look 'thuggy' that you have to worry about.

No doubt. Once you scream out your 225 pounds, that'll frighten 'em.

Ok, the end quote of that clip angers me. "Kids" cant buy guns legally in the US. 18 for long guns and I believe 21 for hanguns everywhere that I am aware of. I have a pistol permit, so I can buy a pistol, legally.

Why do so many people, from the US even, but mostly abroad, think that ANYONE, regardless of age, can walk into a gunshop and legally buy a gun here in the US? There are background checks, and certain ages to LEGALLY buy a firearm. Illegal is the same as any other country, know somone and you can get one, so I am told *shrugs* gunshop is safer for me! This video is nothing but propaganda.

Again, NO KIDS IN THE UNITED STATES CAN LEGALLY OWN ANY OF THOSE GUNS, unless they are OF AGE and can pass the FBI background check. Sorry, had to get that out of my system.

Oh, and as far as fitting that many guns, yea when hes standing still with a crappy video camera it looks hidden, but let him move and your gonna see all those guns print, its gonna be obvious. He wont be able to walk with a shotgun down his leg, especially one with a full stock! Not unless hes Shaq's height.

Super baggy clothing is a bit insane, but I dont like my jeans riding up my crotch, i dont know about the rest of you guys... I wear one size (2" in guys jeans) larger than I FIT into, so that I can be comfortable. But I wear a belt and my jeans dont sag, either. Same with shirts, I like them a little loose. I dont like tight clothing. Except socks... if they are loose, it just aint good

Oh please don't make me move my thread to P and R.

My impression is that this thread was to explain why the school has a dress code....at least that's what I thought she said in the beginning of it. Here in the ghetto, the kids have to wear uniforms.

My solution...kids go in speedos! Both male and females. Then there's no hiding a gun...or if there is, I don't want to know about it.

Yup, Siu -- in my 'hood, they have to wear 'em because of that, AND the fact that wearing FUBU or Baby Phat will get 'em shot/stabbed/jacked up... in MIDDLE SCHOOL!
