How do I tactfully tell a girl to brush her teeth?

I seem to have secured a non-committal relationship which includes sex. We met up last night for the 2nd time and I have made an observation: she needs to brush her teeth. It's pretty awful She slept over, so I thought I'd try dropping a hint by saying "I'm going to brush my teeth, want mouthwash or anything?" No bite.

How can I convey my desires without coming across as a bad guy?

You didn't notice this BEFORE she slept over? I mean.. when you kissed her?

Maybe I'm just a freak. I brush and floss AT LEAST 7 times a day.

Dang you move fast, PC.

Have a cute little game with her. Tell her you want to go brush each other's teeth together.

I wouldn't trust that other personal hygiene habits aren't just as atrocious. Run away.

I know it might seem fast, but consider that sleepovers in college aren't that big of a deal because we all live close to each other. I feel like I'm not "speeding" toward anything -- I have no desire to date this or any other girl. If it fails, I'm not really losing anything.

+! I tend to agree; however, bad breath is not necessarily a product of bad hygiene, but also could be a indicator of an underlying metabolic dysfunction. Hypothyroidism and Diabetes come to mind.

The same way that you tactfully tell a girl that those pants give her a muffintop and make her look fat.

Good luck.

Like an adult - right up front "Listen, you need to brush your teeth. I have a spare toothbrush you can use..." No offense if you guys right off the bat are already engaged in sex, this should not be an embarrassment to her. BTW it is always a good idea to have spare toothbrushes. Buy a few extra and keep them handy.

At the very least you can say to her "hey I left you a washcloth, soap, a toothbrush and toothpaste on the bathroom counter so you can freshened up..."

And is it the breathe thing not her teeth? Also leave some mouthwash. I bet she smokes and drinks coffee? Long ago I stopped dating guys who did this - there was no way to clean up that breathe! Phew!

Tell her that her breath would knock a buzzard off a s**twagon as you offer her some cinnamon gum. Hopefully, this will lead her to a clue.
