Its a nerd wonderland!

I'm almost tv famous! And, awfully nerdy (if you didn't already know). Can you spy me?
[linkremoved]

It WAS a nerd wonderland! 24hours of extreme nerdery, stayed up all night clicking away making life a little better for folks who really needed it. [edit: in the event you don't watch the video, its an overnight challenge of teams of web developers working with nonprofits to create websites for them. more like web applications, actually]

The organization I ended up developing for is called Restorative Justice Community Action. VERY COOL organization. The site we're developing will probably save them nearly a full time salary's worth of work in a year. In a world of budget cuts, this is priceless!

(WARNING: this is not the new site-- yet.
[linkremoved]

clearly, they needed a little help.

Thanks SB! Now that I'm recovered sleep-wise (and emotionally. 24 hours with nerds is a lot to handle!) I'd definitely do it again.

Yup, and the cowboy shirt was a nice touch!

all joking aside, orange blouse, cute little nose, prettiest eyes I've ever seen, sitting next to the guy that can't seem to keep his hand off his head! Great to see and hear from you again Arti! I don't know about everyone else but I sure do miss you! =0(

Haha, I was going to say, "Wow! There are girls there!" Then I realized only one was attractive. Then after reading the above posts I realized that the one attractive gal was Arti and I didn't even realize it before reading the other posts.

I know and/or recognize several people from that video, which sorta scared me quite a bit.

And because of my job, I have met Belinda many times before, which has nothing to do with this thread but I just wanted to say that.

Computer bells ring, are you listening,
In the lane, monitors are glistening
A beautiful sight,
We're happy tonight.
Walking in a nerd wonderland.

Gone away is the jock,
Here to stay is a nerd
He sings a love song,
As we go along,
Walking in a nerd wonderland.

In the meadow we can build a Macintosh,
Then pretend that it is a robot

He'll say: Are you computing?
We'll say: No man,
But you can do the job
When you're in town.

Later on, we'll conspire,
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid,
The plans that we've made,
Walking in a nerd wonderland.

In the meadow we can build a Macintosh,
And pretend that he's a circus clown
We'll have lots of fun with mister Mac,
Until the Windows kids knock him down.

When it compiles, ain't it thrilling,
Though your arms gets a twitching
We'll frolic and play, the programming way,
Walking in a nerd wonderland.

Lol, I know what you mean- I got in the room and sooo many familiar faces. Kind of surprising considering all the techie people in the twin cities, but totally awesome!
