The Masters

Is anyone else watching? It seems to be lining up well for Mickelson. I'll be rooting for Couples, now that Watson is pretty well out of contention. It's hard to think Westwood is fourth in the world, but never won a major; I think he'll fold. Tiger will probably make a little run to finish a couple strokes back. I'll guess Mickelson by 2 over Woods, and another 2 back to Couples and Westwood.

I'm finding myself going against Tiger, probably from now on. Sorry, Charles Barkley, you guys are role models, and you should care what somebody else's kid learns from you. I mean the F-bombs, on the course, as much if not more than the family stuff. Yes, son, you should try to be like Arnold Palmer, if you can; Tiger, not so much.

I haven't been watching it, but out of curiosity I did look at the leaderboard. When I checked this morning, Mickelson was listed as being 11 under par I think, but when I clicked on his name it said -5. How do you reconcile this? Why does is say -11 in one place but -5 someplace else?

Edit: I lost interest in Tiger Woods ever since he turned down an opportunity to play at the Bob Hope Invitational

I don't know where you're looking, but I'd say flip on the t.v. and look live. He's at 11 under (total) right now, a shot behind Westwood.

I'm rooting for Tom Watson, only because I drew his name for a charity contest at work. I couldn't believe my eyes on the first round, but he's steadily fallen back since.

It's going to be a while before I start cheering for Tiger ... if ever. Not because of all his affairs, but because we're now finding out that he was a bit of an egotistical jerk on the tour.

The only thing that sucks worse than golf is watching golf on TV.

It was Mickelson by three strokes over Westwood in second, Kim third, Tiger in fourth. Westwood hung tough, but Mickelson never gave him much chance. Kim was already in and never had a real chance to win. Tiger was eagle/bogey all day, and missed about a one foot putt in frustration.

This was a great Masters, we did't have to see Mickelson cry, or that many senior citizens, just great fresh faces and some great golf. Tiger played a great game, I'm still a big fan!

I'm not a fan of Tiger but when he's playing well like today it does make for good viewing.

I was a bit surprised to see this thread about last year's Masters get reborn. It was a wild finish this time around. I only got to see the second half of the final round (600k brevet this weekend). Poor Rory...what a meltdown.
