Meh, doing my taxes took all of 30mins online. I guess that's one good thing about being a poor newly grad.

Mine are done and the check writing part hurt quite a bit. Could have bought a Cervelo. Seriously.

I can't believe people wait until the very last day to pay their taxes. -I- got mine in waaay before then .... ok, it was yesterday.

Amazing how you put it off until the bitter end - if you owe, that is.

My first extension was filed yesterday, but likely won't be finished until some time in October.

But I pay quarterly anyway, so it is just the paperwork. Last year's return was almost 100pages long. (that's what you get for having a S-Corp)

lol I was going to make the same thread.

Made money order and sent it today. About 50 bucks but right now it hurt like a 5k one. I was the only one at the post office.

I know of some post offices that have to call the police every year, near midnight, just to manage the crowd that pours in by the thousands.

Me too...although I think I'd go visit Carl Strong for a custom bike so I could have my name on a bike...or maybe stay local and get a custom carbon bike from Nick Crumpton. Either way...can't do it now.

I'm just glad I don't have to file with the state too!

Claiming too many exemptions probably. Single zero all the way.

We were doing ours online last night. Found we needed the taxpayer ID of our younger kid's school that she switched to in June. Turned out we'd paid enough to her previous one that we could just leave the new one off this year's return.

Claiming too many exemptions? Don't think so...How about a lot of write offs?

Filed with state and federal refunds already in the bank. But I did just deposit my bi-weekly child support payment. So easy come, easy go.

Gotta get a few hats, e.

I'm thinking of having my whole yard landscaped and building a fence so I can finally start my produce garden.

Or maybe I should get hardwood for the hallway, livingroom and bedrooms to match the bike room? And a stone floor in the kitchen?

Floors or yard, floors or yard...

100 page tax return? how needlessly complecated are US taxes?

Non of my client have a return anywhere that lenght even with supporting accounts.
