Phototrip: Prague & Kutna Hora, Czech and Wein, Austria.

    Part: Prague, Czech

The food was great, mostly. Some of it was really terrible, but that can be said about any city restaurant.

The city looks run down, but it's not so bad actually.
    I highly recommend guided tours.
    Hostels weren't that bad either.

The Beer you can buy here is great for the price.
I don't really recommend it for people who are allergic to tobacco smoke, as it seems to be a rare thing for restaurants to be smoke free.

oh, and take some multivitamins with you. The only vegetables served there are carrots, kraut, onions, potatoes and pork.

    to just browse yourself, here:

Food for thought: if you aren't dead by 2050, you and your entire family will be within a few years from starvation. Now that is a cruel gift to leave for your offspring. ;)

    Part: Return to Prague, Czech.
Some exploration, more like getting lost, in detail

1: Palace garden, the one with the massive cathedral on top of a hill.
2: some parts of the cathedral that wasn't part of the foot tour.
3: I'm only 170cm, but back when the castle was made, I'd be a giant.

    4: Torture tower monument.
    5: subway wall decorations.
    6: Communist museum.

    7: communist work bike
8: I think communist track bike
9: news flier maybe? for soviet track rider.

10: Prague Castle night shot, I think I did pretty good, considering I managed to blur a flash photo in Frankfurt.

Wow! Looks like an amazing time! That one pic looks incredible...

Glad you're having a good time. Can't wait to see the pics. That part of the world is somewhere I've been wanting to go for a while. Did you learn any of the languages before you left?

Ironically, despite being a landlocked country, "ahoy!" is a greeting for meeting and parting in Český.

    so, no, not really
hang on, 400+ pics take a while to upload.

A shot of the chaos at Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport for transatlantic flights.

the line for the flight to new york was about a mile long.
of course, being french and metric, that's about 100m.
