Reminds me of the '71s. Nice looking, but absolutely hideous rear visibility.

Get it. Going in Thursday to talk about this baby. 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Hemi. I'll race ya.

But in all reality if I really think of it, I might as well go a bit higher and get the car I REALLY want... http://porschebahn.wordpress.com/201...yellow-gauges/

Don't like the color, though.

Can't argue there.
I hope they don't come back with the road runner.
one ugly car with factory kit that was.

Pretty much the point behind the styling - imitate the '71-73s.

To be quite honest, I'm not a Mustang fellow myself, and the Challenger is my present preference of the three on the market (Camaros are too Mad Max for me). I still prefer the originals when it comes down to any one of these, rather than the recreations. On the inside, they're all as generic as black cork bar tape.

No, it's a modification of this 2011 Mustang GT image. I spent a few hours tinkering with it:

I ain't got a use for coupes. Being a family guy with young 'uns and all, if they made a wagon version of the Camaro and called it the Nomad.... I might be tempted.

Agreed. Halacki's machine sets the standard, doesn't it? Not even the red '71 in Diamonds Are Forever had the same cult following.

But the body style is definitely eye catching....far better than those of the 80's and 90's.

Where does the bike rack go?

You're thinking of the Superbird. That's a model that won't make the jump to the present. It was a product of its era (and of stock car racing at least pretending that the cars used had anything to do with stock vehicles).

yeah, that's the one, super bird.
atrocious design.

If I had to go with one of those winged Dodge things, I'd take the Charger Daytona over the Superbird:

The larger Charger platform does balance the nose out a bit better. Its not great, but better.

I had a '98 Mustang for a few months in '98... but I've always had a thing for the early 70's fastbacks. So I vote yea.

They're all too overpowered and suck too much gas. Ban anything over 200HP for anything other than commercial use and we might make some progress on this global warming thing.

Personally, I'd much rather have this:

I'm not a Mustang owner, I've owned lots of different cars including a bunch of Corvettes, some Taurus SHO's, a Jeep, etc. I started driving in the old days right after the Camaro, Mustang and Challenger had come out. I was never a Mustang fan, because there were others I liked better. I never owned a Camaro but I did like it better than the Mustang. I was excited to see the new versions come. I've been looking up reviews and comparisons the past few days. Everything I've read about the new Camaro is positive, but the last few comparisons I read said the 2011 Mustang was even better. While the Challenger has its good points, it doesn't measure up to the other 2. But I do like the looks of it, and I really like the looks of the new Camaro. I tried to get in the new Camaro at our most recent car show but couldn't fit in it because I'm pretty tall and the car has a low roofline.

I drive this little "old man's" car, but it has 400hp and could probably give all 3 of these cars a run for their money.

Bait taken.

I still see no need for a more costly car. I'll take one that costs me less and allows me to transport myself while still leaving finances to spend on bettering my quality of live over one that costs more and gains only "status" for those that see excess as success any time.

What's wrong with wanting to get a real nice car?
