You know what SUCKS?!?

Spending HOURS washing/waxing/vacuuming/detailing (engine included) two cars, WAIT - one truck and a BLACK muscle car - only to have the next door neighbor decide NOW to bring her dirty rugs outside and beat them.

Now the black car is dotted with dust.

I have a coffee appt soon and I have to come back home and rewash it again. You get more trade in value if they are CLEAN.

So........ what sucks for you?

edit: MV keep it clean.

edit #2: ^^^ That didn't sound right, did it?

Ya, you should see mine. Last time I washed it, all the leaves stuck to it when I came home and parked it. My car has been washed three times in the 7 years I have had it.

I spent more than my fair share of time washing and waxing and detailing my vehicles... it sucks that I can't get that time back.

Before I became car free I was car light and would start the car once a week and might even use it and if the car got washed it was because it rained.

My work car is black. My employees toss crumbs on the roof to attract seagulls.

It would be funny if it was somebody else.

I will bring SuperJeep to the spray-bay and hose the clumps off after mudding, but that's the closest it gets to a proper washing.

Things that suck(ed)
- Last year SuperJeep broke down on the highway, 15 miles from the start of the 300k brevet I was driving to.

- My job. More and more stuff piling up, shorter and shorter deadlines. Less patience and more indifference from me. Currently seeking other options. Can't wait to leave. Whole situation has pushed me to the 10pm hill-repeats-to-avoid-drinking stage. If I don't find a new job soon, I'll either get really fit, or have a stress-induced aneurysm.

the fact that I saw a bug almost the size of a cigarette lighter in my house the other day sucks. I kept thinking of Men In Black. *shivers*

next time I saw it, it was dead. Good old Orkin.

Sweeping and mopping the house, doing the A.M. dishes, cleaning the kitty litter, sweeping and mopping the basement stairs, getting the laundry done, getting a well deserved shower and sitting down in my nice smelling clean clothes just to have Vic come over and place his uber wet, drippy, kibble covered snout on my lap!

Everytime I would wash my car it would rain the next day or a few days after. So far I broke a record of a week maybe.

Kirby vacuum cleaners.

What really sucks is people asking you to do things at work, late in the afternoon the day before vacation starts. I plan on hiding tomorrow.

You know what sucks? 2.6 billion (that's 2,600,000,000) people don't have access to toilets. They **** were they can. Much of it ends up, completely untreated, in their drinking water. There are waterways in the world that are sludge black with human waste and these are the major water sources.

Think about that next time you get a little dust on your car or a couple of bug splatters on your windshield. Things could always unbelievably worse.

Oh lots of things but this one is recent - got dressed nicely for work this morning, my hair actually turned out nice (I'm growing it out so it usually looks crazy) . I decided to take the trash out on the way to my car. I lift the cover of the trash bin and 100's of flies swarm out. I swat at them with my garbage bag, tossing it into the bin... at the same, in extreme slow motion, I see my car keys go sailing after the bag. Crap! I go inside, get a chair and my broom and come back out where I have to spend the next 45 minutes, moving around garbage looking for my keys (ugh nasty!) and then trying over and over again to drag the keys up the side of the bin with the broom handle trying to get them out. After about 30 tries, I can reach them. OK so now I have my keys but I'm sweaty, filthy, icky and have to run inside, take a quick shower, change clothes and get to work, late. My hair now looks normal - all ratty and crazy.

Oh yeah, I washed the keys for about 20 minutes using bleach and alcholol - imagine the germs!!!

Man, I haven't even had time to think about washing the car since we had the baby, but with all of the rain up to a couple of weeks ago it still looks okay.

He's four months old tomorrow.
