Don't forget about 2 other good forms of weight loss...

sniffing glue and spray paint. Both really good for a few reasons-

1. They are cheap and easily available

2. They take the tedium out of your commute... you'll be too dizzy and crapped out to know much of anything

3. As your dependence on them grows your appetite decreases

Last...

4. You look really cool with a spray painted circle around your nose & mouth from sniffing the fumes out of paper bags.

**NOTE** Just make sure to buy spray paint similar in color to your bike and you'll stay fashionable.

5. Eventually both will cause you considerable brain damage and then the REAL fun begins. Happy, happy days spent in the Psych Ward eating Gerber's baby food from volunteer nurses. Yee-Haw

I've smoked enough pot to get tired of it. Quit a long time ago.

Pot's very bad for your lungs. Even if you don't smoke anything at all, you will still face the destructive power of air pollution.

Make a wise choice now, while you're young enough to bounce back.

Yea, They are cool no pressure and we are just out for a ride and they understand. I know what you mean.

The best part is they think I'm pedaling fool! I can smoke them on the uphills, flats and downhills but not on the stunts. I'm working on that part and I don't think it will be long before I can out ride them on stunts. Due to your help with the teeter problem I was having ( It's all a mind game). You helped me out with that one.

Thanks

No worries...glad I could help.

I suck at pedalling. Get bored to fast and run out of breath (asthma like heavy breathing)...I am building up a xc hoping to really get some more ride time in instead of dh (which I have become heavily addicted to)

And before everyone starts going off about the breathing. I don't toke and even when I did in the day it was not a habit by any means. And heck I have never even had a cig. This is a problem I have had since my days playing football and basketball...like I have no lung capacity for endurance.

Man...my sister smokes pot and I've been after her to quit for who knows how long. She went to rehab and everything. Started smokin again after being clean for 9 months. She says it's not addictive. Oh yeah!!! THEN QUIT!!! All this from her "goodie two shoes" little sister. Yeah, she loves me. Sorry about the rant.

Wow shes got a problem. Thats unfortunate. It is definately addictive for certain personalities, but I never had issues quitting. I also don't know very many people that did, in fact...I didn't know there was rehab for pot. Best of luck with your sister, hope she finds the strength to drop it or the reason she does it.

Interesting. I will have to look into that to see if it is valid for increasing lung capacity.

Cheers

Some people just aren't built for endurance.

I have incredible lung capacity, but I'm still not a great endurance athlete.
