I've been bike commuting and just riding about 20+ miles a day with a day or 2 off a week for about 9 months now. The thing is that I haven't really seen great results as in weight loss. I'm able to bike much stronger and longer but my weight likes to stay around 225lbs and my body fat around 25%. I realized since I've been bike commuting so much (and this is mountain milage) that I've been smoking a lot more pot and when I do I eat so damn much it is insane. So I finially made the decision to only smoke up on special occasions and see if my weight will change for the better. After about 2 weeks I'm down to 220lbs so I guess that's a good start. Anybody else had the same type of experience? Did it work or not?
