Tuesday, I had a morning of dealing with rowdy 4th graders who have more to talk about than any kids I have had in 20-something years of teaching, an afternoon of being poked, prodded, stuck, tested, and scanned in the hospital (who will be getting my very last dime when I have to pay the 20% that the insurance doesn't pay), and then I go home and am sitting in my living room thinking I can relax when a tiny little field mouse peeks out from under my couch, watching my every move. Yuck, I do hate mice! Then the agonizing decision of what kind of mouse trap to use....do I use the kind that snaps their little heads and kills them instantly, the kind that glues their little feet to the trap, or do I see if I can find a humane trap for the little bastard, all the time knowing that if there is ONE baby mouse in my house, there are probably more?
Now I am off to educate young 4th grade minds again. I am gonna try my best to have a good day. Hope all you guys do, too! Sorry to rant about trivial matters!
