Which one of these green watches do you like best?

Assuming I even buy one...I don't need one, and I like traditional analog watch dials but my HR monitor watch I wear on the bike is dying and besides, green is my favorite color. Plus i like the solar powered aspect.

Still, you have to look at the watch several times/day so it may as well appeal to you from a visual aesthetic angle.

So please vote, curious what the collective mind of foo has to say....

Number #3 would be my pick from your choices.

However, coming from someone who has a serious watch fetish, you're killing me with those. This one is a little better:

I vote for number one. Less busy, a clean look and less bulky on the wrist.

When I buy a sporty or any watch for that matter, the question I always ask myself is, "If the Klingons were to attack right now, which watch would best make it through.". I pick watch# 3.

if you want a green watch, get one that is wind powered, or just screw a sundial to your wrist.

I wear those when I am on my jet ski. The best part there is they are waterproof to 400 fathoms, and they only cost around $24

It's definietly a cleaner look but a while I like my watches vintagey, I don't like vintagey digital watches. Plus my wrists are fat (like the rest of me) so a bulky watch is more in proportion to my size...

The amount of money that you save on gas from riding a bike should offset the cost of a fine $6,000 Rolex timepiece.

One way to justify it is that - as with very few other items on earth that can be bought with money, outside of real estate - a Rolex will actually hold its value like no other watch...people have bought, used and beaten up Submariners and resold them for more or less a price that has at least kept pace with inflation. Which as they say, makes it a 'free' watch to wear for as long as you like.

I go with Omegas because I while I love the look of Rolex designs They just don't look right on my wrist to me. You pay a bit less for Omega but you also won't get nearly as much back on resell...not that I am planning to anytime soon, but fwtw.

I definitely need more wrists shots of these being worn...any pics of yours?

I saw someone wearing one in a club the other night; it was dark but there was enough light to see that the green band looked really nice.

In the end, I need to just go try on all three at the store...

My son has the first watch in the OP. He likes it. He has that in white. IMHO white watches look gaudy in the packaging, but they go with almost everything you can wear. The solar battery technology has many advantages.
