New York City Foo

Question for you Empire State foosters: Are there any public parking lots in the Park Slope area of Brooklyn?

I am supposed to fly up to NYC next week and pick up the spousal unit and offspring and drive upstate for a few days. It is cheaper to rent by the week than the day. Daguhter lives in Park Slope. My wife wonders if there is public parking nearby so that she can get the car ahead of time and just park it until I fly in. Street parking is impossible so I hear.

You might have better luck asking in the NE regional forum. Or google it.

Yeah, I wasn't real happy with google results, this was just a shot in the dark.

Yeah, check in NE - that's close to prospect park; you're bound to find one fairly close, maybe not right in Park Slope, though.

Too bad you're not in the bensenhurst area. I'll let you park in my drive way for a few days.

Now you know why the locals call it No-Place-To-Park Slope.

lol @ brooklyn being 'hard to park'...try finding parking living in the Upper West Side. They'll tow you the minute it hits 8am or if you're standing there trying to figure out the sign.
