Wife had a BAD allergic reaction to peaches last weekend. Can you say anaphalaxysis? No more peaches in casa de jsharr for a long time.

Major bummer! I hope she was/is OK. You just have to sneak out to the farmers market @ lunch and then brush real good before going home!

With so many melons and tomatoes to eat, it is hard to find a place for the peaches.

melons with breakfast (on the side-gotta have cherrios and blueberries), a peach with lunch, homegrown tomato on the turkey sandwich and at dinner with the cucumber!

Hmm, I wonder if MN has a season. I guess I don't know much about agriculture in my own area!

Peaches used to be my favorite fruit. I used to just love sumemr and fresh peaches. Unforunately I can't get good peaches anymore. If bought in the store they are rock hard, I get them home and next day they are rotten.

Anyone have a nice peach tree with fruit? Can you send some my way????

Farmer's Market? Where you live, there should be lots of farmers with local peaches.

I won't buy them in the grocery stores anymore. We have some local orchards, and I only buy local and in season (July-Sept). They are a different fruit.

Grilled peaches. Cut them in half, stone removed of course, set them on a grill face down to sear. Remove from grill, place on plate, sprinkle with crushed Nilla wafers, garnish with whipped cream, enjoy.

Sounds like a plan. I forgot about the cukes. Bought a watermelon and a musk melon yesterday. (I can't spell cantalope.)

My favorite way to eat sweet peaches is cut up on vanilla ice cream. But they are also a great way to add flavor to a salad (with oil dressing only)

They are good, but not the best. They are small compared to other places, and not nearly as sweet as Oregon and Illinois. You should be getting excellent peaches in MI.
