    Blah!! Sick of being sick!!!

    Ever since I got back from Hotter N Hell Hundred like almost 3 weeks ago I've been in this funk! I can't hardly hear my ears are so plugged up and my nose...heck if it's not running like crazy it's plugged up too! I'm getting sick of it too. I'm not sick enough to stay in bed and pull the covers up over my head (although that sounds nice) so I'm still out doing everything I normally do. And that just makes me feel super run down at the end of the day. Boo hoo. I even went to bed at 9:45 last night. Which is unusual for a midnight gal like myself. Will someone bring me chicken noodle soup? At least feel sorry for me...

    Typical symptoms of overdoing it/overtraining. Take time off from cycling until your body tells you it's feeling 100%. I had to take off 2 weeks of riding a few weeks back, and I'm still coming back slowly myself. Very similar symptoms to yours, btw.

    Check your email, chicken noodle soup on the way!

    In the mean time, take some multi vitamins, lots of fluids, have a protein drink every day to let your body rebuild, have lots of rest and stay out of the heat. Try to get a massage.

    yummy soup!! Do you know me or something?? Funny...I take my vitamins every day, I have a protein smoothie for breakfast everyday, and I have a massage once a week. The sleep thing I'm working on. Kinda hard with a toddler in the house!! Speaking of sleep...I think I'll hit the hay now!!

    I got some allergies I cant seem to shake. Clariton is my best friend.
