I read that they removed this non surgically, with a minimally invasive procedure.
They strapped the man to a large turntable. He was flat on his back, with his head back and his mouth open. The care team then began to rapidly spin the turn table until the centrifugal force ejected the legume from his lung out his mouth. He was under general anesthesia for the operation.
Oh and right before they put him under, they told him to visualize whilred peas.
