I want to buy a Nissan.

Thanks to the ads on this forum.

I'm not sure who this guy is, but he looks pretty ripped. Does he ride?

The more you post, the more your frame material preference makes sense.

That ad is a good example of androgyny. I didn't even pay close enough attention to it to know it as a car ad. Now I do, and I am sad.

my dad had a nissan armada and so did several of his friends who were impressed with the large space for large families.

my dad's flipped over in the rain.
my dad's friend had a nissan armada, it feel off of an over pass due to steering problems.
my dad's other friend had a nissan armada, flipped over during a u turn.

i don't think we will ever buy another nissan.

I don't think your dad or his friends should be allowed to drive anything but a go-kart.

It's Ben Stiller, says so right there in the ad.

theory: roadbiking for women depletes estrogen and creates unisexers. kinda like gymnastics.

I have had two Nissans; one was probably the best car I have ever owned and the other was absolutely the worst car. The first was a truck and it was stolen. It had 150K on it and never had anything done to it but brakes.

I replaced it with a Pathfinder I bought at an auction. The Pathfinder had electrical problems, was under powered, had a bad lag off the line and was top heavy so it handled poorly.

I would still buy a Nissan if I needed a car. If it was half as good as my first Nissan, I would love it.

Two Nissan Maximas - First had 135K with zero issues and we sold it to buy the second. This one has 101K with zero issues. 280 horsepower cars with huge interiors and well appointed for 25K. They also don't have the status stigma (read either bad or good depending upon you) of owning a BMW, Infiniti, Lexus or Mercedes. Believe it or not this was really important to my wife.

I don't know... there is a class action lawsuit against nissan, regarding the armada.

I stand by my assertion. Going too fast for conditions, not doing proper maintenance, etc etc etc., all amounts to user error, not manufacturing defect.

"Flipped over in the rain"... right, as if it was the truck's fault. I hope he's gotten better since then.

Ah Lexus. The Madone of cars. Expensive. Refined. And boring as all get-up.

Just test drove an Altima today. Nice but walked away. Numbers not what looking for.

At 25K 'city' miles per year, comparing 4cyl gas which are typically discounted, vs vw tdi diesel, vs hybrid (Prius or Fusion).
