Zzzzz... Watching The Sad Pap That The TV Suits Are Shoveling At The Masses

http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/news/tv/la-et-tv-premiere-20101004,0,5743111.story

I have been beyond just disappointed with the junk food that the network suits are throwing at the masses of bored & scared worn people out there in TV Land.

".....But there may be a simpler explanation: The new shows just aren't that good....."

I have logged in fewer and fewer hours in front of the passive screen, more so each passing year, instead opting to go online, play videos-even read-than to stay even 5 minutes longer in front of the set. It does not lull me to sleep anymore. It makes me want to throw up all over the screen & remote.

Masees? Now that I have been informed, I feel so much better. I wouldn't have missed this for anything, including whatever I don't know is cool. (Old guy alert.)

I use the TV to watch yoga DVDs. I think the last TV program I watched was the Olympics.

I'm hooked on :
Modern Family
Cougar Town
The Office
Pawn Stars
Avec Eric
Hell's Kitchen
Martin Yan's Hong Kong

I don't have a TV per se, just watch shows on Hulu when I get the time.

OMG, I forgot there's a new Hawaii Five-O!!!

Those sound like winners! Wow, they call Red Shoe Diaries X-rated? I haven't seen an episode since the 80s, but remember them being pretty soft core.

My main hulu gripe is that I wish I could filter out daytime soaps when I click on "Recent Episodes. That would make finding what I want to watch much easier.

Haven't seen any dramas that have drawn me in lately. I watched all the Wild Roses episodes a few months ago, fingers crossed that more of that action gets made. It's like a new, Canadian update of Dallas.

I found reruns of Blossom on YouTube! I'm watching that while waiting for the next episode of Jersey Shore. I have high hopes for Sister Wives -- and by "high" I mean my standards are set even lower than for Jersey Shore.

Look, it's October, so you've got lots of horror movies on AMC and Turner Classic Movies, and on Hallowe'en, The Walking Dead premieres.

That Yogi is a trip, but Boo Boo is my favorite.

That's right... and we haven't even started with this year's Foo Zombie Defense planning.

No actual TV in my house in about 5 years. I watch plenty of "TV" on-line however.

When I am at someone's house and see commercials, I feel like someone who has just returned from Siberia.
