How much do I hate hotmail?

THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS MUCH! And then some!

I haven't been able to go online at all to check my messages. Every time I do, I get the "server is too busy" message. God, I hate them. I am sick of not being able to access my email, then I just don't bother, then I get the "you better check in because you have to log in once a month or lose your account" message. So then when I check in, I can't get on!

I'm so glad to have gmail now. As soon as I get to log into that sorry a-ed account, I'm going to mass email everyone and tell them to contact me only through gmail from now on.

Uuuugh, I'm just really needing to access my account today to get my hotel information from them, and I can't do it because the server is too busy, and I can't confirm my information at all. Bleah.

Sorry. Rant over. [/rant]

I blew off hotmail years ago when my inbox was more spam than real mail. I agree with Merton on Yahoo they are my online address. Whats gmail?

You can say that again, what a pain that "keep copy in sent items" isn't checked by default. Hotmail's spam filtering is much better than it used to be though.

Man do I wish for the days of the old hotmail before the started making you pay for anything. Before they started that passport thing. Once that happened, hotmail started to generally suck.

Koffee, why not just set up Outlook Express to handle your Hotmail account. Works great for me... all the public messages go there and my verizon address is saved for private correspondence.

I guess I don't know enough about the outlook express to do anything with it. But I have gmail anyway, so it's a good scene anyway. I am getting really tired of hotmail. I finally got to access my email this evening.

I was really mad when they decided to delete all messages and tell everyone any messages over a month would be deleted unless put in a created folder. Absolutely NO advanced warning, and I lost email addresses from people I had no way of contacting! Bastards!

I've been using Yahoo without complaint since 2000. I ditched hotmail basically after I finished university -- it was useful for when I was researching on websites that demanded an e-mail address. I basically had it set up as a "second account" to which I could allow these websites to direct their spam, but still access their information without clogging my real inbox. That's about all hotmail was ever good for.

I started disliking hotmail once they started the passport thing. There's plenty that I don't like (change the layout every 3 months, spam magnet, too many false positives in the spam filter, low storage limit, etc), but the thing I hate most is the fact that it redirects to MSN every time I logout. I REALLY HATE that site. It's almost all pointless gossip and lame, poorly written, beauty magazine-type articles. Any news posted on that page is at least 2 days old and headlines are always written in the form of a question.

Hotmail blows. I use gmail. I have a few gmail invites if anyone wants an account. Just PM me if you want a gmail account and I will send you an invite.

Get invited to gmail here: http://isnoop.net/gmailomatic.php

The invites have slowed down though, google is no longer giving them out like candy. Seems every month or so they send out a flurry of invites.
