For our superstitious friends out there, I suggest you go out and ride a 10 mile loop 10 times with 10 mins rest after each one. If you don't you will have a mysterious squeek develop within 10 mins after the end of 10-10-10.

I was unaware of it until my daughter mentioned it the other day. I will be on my bike -- hopefully near the northeast edge of Connecticut/Douglas State Forest -- at 10:10:10 in the morning of 10-10-10.

Most historians no longer think the year 1 actually corresponds to the birth year of Jesus. Starting our calendar on Jan 1 is a relatively modern practice and somewhat arbitrary, as is the number of days in each month. That makes the date 10-10-10 a meaningless numeric fluke just like any other date.
