What Do You Miss?

I know it's sort of a personal question...but what do you miss?

I really miss the scent and feeling of my ex-girlfriend's house, it's just such a indescribable scent that makes my heart beats fast when I even try to recall it...and being in the house makes me feel somewhat unwanted yet loved...it's a strange feeling that I can not capture.

When I listen to a particular series of songs, I get this strange feeling of familiarity but can not remember what exactly it is, I sometimes can remember vaguely what I was doing at that time but usually, it just a strange feeling...I miss being in certain moments when a particular song plays.

So what do you guys miss? Loved ones? Pets? That bike you used to have? Pictures and stories are most certainly welcomed.

I live in Philly, where open drug dealing and just about every other crime is not only welcomed but encoraged. That said I miss being able to walk the streets without seeing low life scum running about doing what ever dirty deeds it is they do.

I miss my younger driving days when I was carefree and I was the idiot, rather than now when I get all worked up constantly about the idiots (it seemed better when I used to be one of those I hate now?).

Being able to walk home from the pub, and get a curry, or a kebab, or fish and chips on the way.

I have been missing my grandparents (and their parents). But something I could actually remedy is that I also miss a good Maine (or Atlantic Canada or New Jersey, just not those spiny things...) lobster.

I miss a lot of stuff.

I miss my grandparents and my dad.

I miss my college girlfriend, her smelling of L'Air Du Temps and both of us living without a worry.

I miss my cat Ledo, he never knew he was a cat.

I miss my old health insurance plan. This one I have now is whittling me to death.

I miss my younger days when I could wake up anyday and feel great. Nowadays I never know how each day will be.

I miss a lot of stuff.

I miss living in the country and being able to shoot a gun or take a leak wherever I want.

I miss Columbia Billiards in Columbia, MO. During college and after, we used to get the best burgers and fries there. The Columbia smoking ban put them out of business.

I miss the old days of baseball card collecting when there was only one brand and it had gum with it. It's far too commerical with too many options now.

I miss pro athletes that were heroes and/or role models not just high priced arrogant prima donnas.
