Sooooooooo..... What are your plans for Friday?

I'm staying away from all the commercialism and going to go for a nice morning bike ride.

Then probably come home and do some baking.

When evening falls I'm going out with my Micaiah for a looong evening drive.

I will be in East Texas. Might take the bikes, not sure yet. Will fish and shoot bb guns and maybe take the boat out and have a campfire if there is not a burn ban and make smores and just relax and revel in all the blessings in my life with my family.

Haven't decided the plans yet. Most likely sleep in on the day off. Be careful riding with all the crazies out though!

After having a more hectic dinner with my Dad's side of the family,I'm going to enjoy a quiet meal with my Mom's side of the family, and avoid the malls. And hope I can continue to not cut/stab/mutilate myself.

Riding - haven't decided where yet. Weather is suppose to be fantasic! Sunny, 60 degrees. It recently rained so the air is clean and fresh. Will probably go do one of my favorite mountain trails in Chino Hills. I'm not travelling for the holiday since I live in a vacation desination!

Rueben quit complaining about working. I get 6 or 7 days off as holidays a year. Friday just happened to be one of them - New Year, Memorial Day, 4th of July (if a weekday), Labor Day, Thanksgiving + Friday and Christmas. The only thing that helps is I also have 8 weeks vacation every year!

Ride, keeping far far far away from retail areas.

Best wishes to those who will be working with the combined joys of a Monday and a Friday.

Ah, yes, I have had a few times in my life when I needed to do regular shopping and totally forgot about what day it was until I reached the parking lot...

Interring my mom's ashes. There will be some tears, but believe it or not, it will be a good day remembering a great lady.

Er, sorry for the buzz-kill, everyone. It really will be a good day. Spending time with my sister, brother, our kids and various close family friends sharing memories and generally talking up a storm will be good. Seriously. I didn't mean to kill yet another thread . . . .
