I'm in a little room

Being a casualty in the thermostat wars, suffering from insomnia and really bored, I came up with this:

I'm in a little room
with a little tiny box
I plug it in, turn it on
and magicly the room gets hot

There's a bigger 'make hot' box
that can warm the whole house
But it's thermostat I can't touch
or I'll be exiled to the dog house

I thought of other options
to fight the winter freeze
I came to the conclusion
nothing beats a midnight squeeze

"Get away! need to sleep!
and your hands are too cold!"
So long for my plan
back to the little room, alone

Ooh, ooh ... I think I've got it. You're in the bathroom playing with your computer. Kinda weird dude.

Laundry room actually. The small space heater can heat it up quickly and doesn't shoot my energy bill trough the roof. Washing machine serves as desk for the laptop during my midnight smoke breaks (too darn cold to get out to smoke).

Weather for Winter Springs, FL
42F | C
Current: Sunny
Wind: NW at 7 mph

If it was 47 and sunny here I'd be out riding. That's almost balmy.

I was picturing padded walls and a straight jacket made of duct tape.

It got down to 32 early morning. Hard Freeze warning was in affect for most central Florida. People were covering the trees to keep them from dying. Orange farmers were like "oh no again!".

But I've seen in colder around these parts. Right now is actually rideable with a fleece. My kids are playing outside @ 61 degrees.

On other information, I'm gonna have to stick to computers for a while, since my poetic writer career is not taking off.
