Post a link to your favorite Hot Dog Joint!

I'm visiting Ms. Tude soon and she lives near one of the best hot dog joints I have ever been too.

A favorite stop on rides with some of my buddies.
Side note, on the Knoxville Double and the Devil Mountain Double here in Northern California, hot dogs are served at about mile 140. They bring the dead back to life for those last 60 miles. I never tasted anything so good.

hehe - never. The original Nick Tahoes is closed, however I have been there after the bars closed to have the plate of { ... burp /... ** plate (aka "garbage plate) of cheeseburgers (no buns served with the burgers or hots - just a couple slices of stale bread) and beans or homefries - and in a BAD neighborhood. Amazing how many well known people who came to Rochester (bands, etc) requested Tahoes. There is a Tahoes number two in the neighborhood, but not with the "ambiance" of Numba one. Many places around here - and nationally now - have a "garbage plate".

Dogtown rocks. They serve a local hot dog made by Zwiegles.

Crif Dogs, NYC - does a great job as well. Think they do they're own dog as well - lots of deep fried doggies with bacon!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coney_Island_Hot_Dog_Stand

From Wikipedia:
Coney Island Colorado (commonly The Coney Island) in Bailey, Colorado is a 1950's diner shaped like a giant hot dog, with toppings. The building has been called "the best example of roadside architecture in the state".

Orbaker's Drive-In, Williamson, NY. Everyone in the area knows of the place. They are even open all year (never used to be maybe 8-10 years ago).

If it ain't Zweigles, I sure as heck will not pay for it! Best hot dogs EVER Especially white hots, mmmmm! I don't often buy hotdogs out though, I prefer to grill my own, but burgers I enjoy out

MmMmmMm Orbaker's - haven't had one of them in years. Another is Tom Wahl's - Avon, NY (original) - they are at certain malls now - their Tom Wahl burgers with a slice of ham on them are great! (oh and they serve zweigle hots)

LOL. When you're approaching it from the other direction, the road's on a curve so for a few moments you're seeing it completely end on. It looks exactly like you're staring at a giant...uh...I mean what I imagine it would look like if...uhm, well, I've been told it looks just...crap...so uh, <lowering voice an octave>, uh...how 'bout them Broncos huh?

And if it's a Sunday the traffic gets backed up forever. Their parking lot is not big enough.

Beat me to it. Though, it took me forever to find where they moved it to from Aspen Park. My parents own land up along 285 near Jefferson, so we'd always stop at Coney Island on our way there.
