What an idiot!

Lucky to get away with (probably) such light injuries.

I saw something like this happen on Ga. Highway 60 (which is one of our best motorcycling and biking roads). Scooter went over the edge and about 30 feet down.

Why are there cameras set up there? What this an event? Or do so many bikes fly through there that they simply have cameras set up to watch?

:O What about when the other guy running towards him was yelling at him to sit down - the guy sat on the guardrail and was unsteady and wobbling!

Back in the day - I rode with ex-husband and boyfriend on harleys and with a couple clubs and - hey I was new to it with the ex-husband - and so I'm on the back of the bike in sneakers, shorts oh and a stupid rain jacket (I wasn't set up at that point for motorcycle riding obviously). At one party - I had this toughened woman take me aside and in a gravely voice - she said "look at my back" and she raised up her leather jacket and shirt --- and all I saw were scars - horrible scars. She said "tank top and gravel" - and she admonished me for a bit too on basically how stupid my "outfit" was for riding. Her scarred nasty back was quite an eye opener - I still have my leathers and boots, etc from those days.

some photographers just sit there and take pictures of the passing cars/bikes then offer them for sale online.

Hey morons, buying an expensive car doesn't automatically give you Super Driving Prowess™.
So it's a west coast Deals Gap?

Mullholland Moron Video

That is why I always have done that kind of driving at night, the headlights of the oncoming cars make an excellent early warning system to get your **** together and make sure you are in your lane.

Oh, and the guy on the scooter was an idiot.

That may well be the best argument I have ever seen for a stricter drivers license test....holy crap! What is the requirement in California? Able to breathe?

Not much better on this coast. There's a reason your average road raceway looks different than your average twisty road. Warning NSFW language.

My sister is an ambulance paramedic. I've heard the stories and even seen the photos (from the paramedic scientific magazine editorial archives - ie the ones they don't publish!!!).
