Ringing In The New Year.....choices, choices

OK, I have a choice of ringing in the New Year with either of 2 choices

I have either some Bollinger Champagne, which is more traditional, but not exceptional, or I have a truly exceptional bottle of Grahams 20 Year old Tawny Port. Let's see your votes in the poll that will be up momentarily. With the Port, I can also have a truly exceptional Cuban Cigar, by the way...........

Port. It's more exceptional...like your wife's homecoming and so much more worth celebrating.

I voted for the port. BTW, I plan reporting you to the Federal Government for having a Cuban cigar. I won't report you if you PM me the cigar though.

Port for sure. I can't think of an appropriate time to drink champagne. Of course, I can't stand the stuff. Enjoy the cigar, that sounds delightful, especially if it has a maduro wrapper!

Some sort of pithy irrelevant one-liner should go here.

It was a friend that works for the fed that gave it to me. He works for Foggy Bottom and was gifted a box by a member of the Cuban Interest Section located at the Swiss Embassy.

    It all depends.

30 people in the house, hanging from the chandelier? Champagne.

5 old friends in the comfy arm chairs, chewing the fat? Port.
