Boost mobile? need feedback!

My contract was fulfilled back in Oct 2010 with AT&T wireless, I've been going on a month to month basis since that time. I'm moving on because we have 4 lines with the family 1400 minute plan and unlimited text messaging, which is costing me an average of $175.00 per month. I'm simply tired of paying so much so I'm moving on. I'm thinking of going the Boost mobile route for myself, ($50 a month unlimited everything) the other family members are moving on to what ever THEY want to pay. I need feedback from anyone that uses Boost, any and all info is appreciated! TY

I've used Boost in the past as a secondary phone and it wasn't bad. I did the $50 a month deal too. Only thing is, if you want a decent looking/using phone you have to pay a bit more than you would since there is no contract.

Reception and call quality, customer service was fine.

Boost has two types of phones, the newer ones are essentially Sprint without roaming. It will have the same coverage/quality as Virgin Mobile CDMA and a few other resellers. The few times I have played with their service it was more than acceptable.
