Got back my first rolls of film from the Mamiya. Considering the camera jammed up on every roll, I suppose I'm happy with the few that actually turned out.
More from the Mamiya, this time with Velvia:
Both were taken today.
Thanks arkansasgal. And that is an excellent flower macro!
Thanks. Yeah, the Velvia is very purple (this time).
arkansasgal, very nice macro. lamplight = damned!
Dug through the photo archives for a few of my family to get up on my Picasa for them. Did a once over in lightroom on most of them. A few more than others:
Margaret in Chicago
An older one of my dad, turned B&W, etc. This was taken in 2002.
And lastly, one of my all time favorite pictures of him, made even better with a little post processing:

Cuda, it's nice sometimes to go back to old photos and apply newly-learned processing skills!
Arkansasgal, your macro abilities are improving exponentially!
Here's a shot from yesterday:
And that's why I ride the bus.
^Thanks Lamplight. I have been shooting, shooting, shooting, ..................................
I need to try macro photography. With my DSLR I never could justify the lens, but my X10 has a halfway decent macro mode. My problem is I can't hold the camera steady enough, and I never have a tripod with me.
