flatsix - love the color, great capture!

colorider - both great photos. The first I'd recommend either pushing the foreground completely into shadow or trying to bring out some more detail. There's just enough non-shadow there to distract me from the great sky and cloud formations.

Great work as always from everyone posting. Need to get back to working on my B&W/monochrome processing, haven't been doing as much of that as of late.

Ordered some prints tonight, including a new 16x20 for over my desk here at the house. Finally decided on a cropped-to-fit version of this one:

to replace the shot I have up now, which ended up being printed a bit lighter than I'd wanted and thus resulted in a washed out sky/water reflection. Figure by the time I tire of this shot I'll have processed all my shots from my upcoming Montana trip and will have plenty more options to choose from.

I'm liking this working from home thing, I can get up later than on days I would be driving into the office, take a photo walk around the park, and be back home and starting work early enough that I can call it a day about the time I would be getting home if I were driving home.

Yeah I wasn't completely happy with that one. Hit auto adjust on photoshop and cropped it some. Tried experimenting with color/brightness/contrast adjustments but couldn't quite get it right. I think the original photo just isnt as good as I hoped as far as the definition of the clouds. It was a quick handheld snap before darkness set in.
