hoping you don't mind....quickly playing with detail, contrast, tone and saturation, also giving the eye more to focus on than just the clouds and moon....just giving it a little different look

Sometimes hand held with my macro lens (and no flash) seems to work better than a tripod setup.

Might as well post this here for the time being till I get "it's all about me" enough to post an entire new thread in Foo... decided over the weekend to knock the dust off one of my more-or-less unused domain names and setup a quick Wordpress site and configured it for a photography portfolio / blog / thing. Still some smoothing around the edges to do, especially working out some of the albums and such, but for the most part I'm pretty happy with it so far: http://jonpfischer.com

Oh, and here's a recent photo too:

Just liked the color of the storm clouds behind these.

Not sure what happened here but the blue showed up after I hit autolevels in photoshop.

colorider, great color indeed, I"d try a few crops on those to take out the background foliage and just leave the sunflowers and sky background.

I like the B&W for that, it makes one see the design.

It is what is so appealing about many of clemsongirl's shots and AllenG's.

B&W is stripped down.

I'm finding more and more of my photos are black & white these days. I really love it.
